The tragic disappearance of Dulce Victoria

The incident was reported around 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, when emergency numbers were alerted about a child clinging to a tree in the middle of the Lerma River.

After being rescued, the boy reported that he was playing with Dulce Victoria when they both fell into the water. He managed to hold on to avoid being swept away by the strong current, while his friend was swept away by the river. From that moment on, rescue teams began a continuous search until this Saturday morning, when Dulce Victoria’s body was found.
