Adric White, 18, decided to walk into a Family Dollar store to commit robbery.

Note: we are republishing this story which originally made the news in November 2013.

When Adric White broke into and entered a Family Dollar, he drew his gun and demanded that the cashier hand over all the cash. White, 18, thought he knew what he was doing when he held the employees hostage at gunpoint.

He ordered them around, acting like a big shot, making demands and feeling strong when they were carried out; however, things took a twist when a Good Samaritan with a legal concealed-carry license busted out their gun and turned the tables on the young armed robber

When the Good Samaritan came to the scene, he pointed his weapon at White and told the young man not to move. But White was not about to have his glory stolen from him that easily.

Instead of listening, he whipped around to look at the Good Samaritan. Because the man with the gun had warned the robber not to move, White got filled with five bullets, which took him out and allowed others to restrain him and get his gun away from him

Adric White, 18, decided to walk into a Family Dollar store to commit robbery. He was already out on bond for a different crime when he made that decision. Unfortunately for him, one of his would-be victims turned the tables on him and shot him. Here’s how Adric’s family responded.

Adric White’s family was shocked and devastated by the news of his attempted robbery gone wrong. They couldn’t believe that he would make such a reckless decision, especially considering his previous run-ins with the law. They were left wondering where they went wrong in raising him and what could have possibly led him down this dangerous path.

As they sat in the courtroom during his trial, they couldn’t help but feel a mix of emotions – anger, sadness, and disappointment. They knew that Adric was not a bad person at heart, but his actions had consequences that he would have to face. They hoped that this incident would serve as a wake-up call for him to turn his life around and make better choices in the future.

Despite the gravity of the situation, Adric’s family still stood by him. They visited him in jail, wrote him letters of encouragement, and attended his court hearings. They wanted him to know that they loved him unconditionally and were there to support him through this difficult time.

As Adric served his sentence, his family remained hopeful that he would learn from his mistakes and come out a changed man. They prayed for his safety and well-being, and hoped that he would use this experience as a stepping stone towards a brighter future.

In the end, Adric’s family never gave up on him. They continued to believe in his potential for redemption and growth, and held onto the hope that he would emerge from this ordeal a stronger and wiser person. And as they awaited his release from prison, they vowed to be there for him every step of the way, ready to help him rebuild his life and make amends for his past actions.
