Twin toddlers drown after grandmother with Alzheimer’s leaves door open – rest in peace

Twin toddlers, Locklyn and Loreli, tragically drowned in their family’s backyard pool in Oklahoma City after their great-grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, reportedly left a door open. The 18-month-old siblings slipped outside unnoticed and were later found by their mother, Jenny Callazzo, in the murky pool.

The family, including six children and other relatives, lives in the home where the accident occurred. Police are investigating but believe the incident was accidental. Just days before, Jenny had posted a photo of the twins with the caption “just want to play outside.”

A GoFundMe has been launched to help with funeral and medical expenses. Experts warn that drowning is often silent and encourage pool safety measures like secure fencing. The heartbreaking loss has deeply shaken the community, and many are offering prayers and support to the grieving family.
