Trump Says He’d Consider Pardoning Diddy If He Believes Rapper Was Mistreated

Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, faces five serious felony charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, to which he has pleaded not guilty. His trial is ongoing in New York, with testimonies from his ex-girlfriend Cassie, rapper Kid Cudi, and others.

At a recent press conference, when asked if he would consider pardoning Diddy if found guilty, President Donald Trump said he would look into the situation if he believed Diddy was treated unfairly, regardless of their past relationship. Trump noted that their friendship ended when he entered politics.

This statement came shortly after Trump pardoned reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion, and rapper NBA Youngboy, convicted on gun charges. NBA Youngboy expressed gratitude for the pardon, saying it gave him a chance to rebuild as a man, father, and artist.
