At 78 years old, Trump is a well-known golf enthusiast. He owns 16 golf courses worldwide, including 12 within the United States. Even while managing the responsibilities of the presidency, such as implementing controversial trade tariffs, reports indicated that Trump spent 18 of his first 69 days in his second term at one of his golf resorts. The cost of these golf trips to U.S. taxpayers was said to exceed $26 million.

One of the most infamous incidents occurred in 2023 when Trump declared himself the winner of a golf tournament, even though he missed half of it because he attended a funeral 600 miles away.
