During her honeymoon, Aimee Partridge noticed what seemed to be bruises on her daughter Brogan’s legs, unaware that these marks were actually a symptom of meningitis. After a misdiagnosis of an eye infection, Brogan’s condition worsened, leading to amputation of her left foot to save her life. Despite fitted with a prosthetic foot, ongoing infection caused immense pain in her remaining leg, forcing a tough decision.

The family ultimately chose to amputate the remaining leg as well due to the infection’s severe impact. Brogan, now nine, is adapting remarkably to her new reality. Aimee emphasizes the importance of recognizing meningitis symptoms early and underscores the family’s challenging journey to ensure Brogan’s health and well-being.
