Within days of signing with Universal, she landed a role on The Loretta Young Show, launching a television career that would span some of the most beloved series of the 1960s.

From Tales of Wells Fargo to Bonanza and Dr. Kildare, she became a familiar, steady presence in America’s living rooms. Yet her influence reached far beyond the screen. At a time when women were rarely invited into writers’ rooms, she contributed scripts to Bonanza, quietly widening a door others would later walk through.
