What a Tragedy! Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown

Buckle up, dear readers, because the new season of Sister Wives is about to hit us right in the feels. We’ll be thrown into the aftermath of Garrison’s tragic passing, and it’s safe to say that tissues will be needed.

Six months after the heartbreaking loss of her son Garrison, Janelle Brown from Sister Wives has penned a heart-wrenching tribute. The news has left fans reeling, and Janelle has been open about her grief, letting her followers in on her mourning journey through social media.

In a recent post, Janelle, 55, shared a tender photograph with Garrison, where he is seen hugging her and planting a loving kiss on her cheek. Janelle, donning a stylish green blouse with her blonde hair meticulously done, manages a smile that hides the profound sorrow she feels.

The caption which accompanies this picture reads: “6 months ago today you went away. Almost every day, I remember you through pictures. It seems like you’re still around sometimes. Then I remember that you won’t be calling or texting me, and it all comes flooding back. I know you fought hard, but you just couldn’t stay in the end. I love you so much and will see you again when my journey is over.”

The outpouring of support from fans has been nothing short of heartwarming. One fan wrote, “You were kind not to ask him why. Just let him know it’s okay that he had to go. Getting along. I love and respect you.” Another added, “I can’t imagine what you are going through and living through daily but I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, he was incredibly lucky to have you.”

Fans have shared their love and respect for Janelle, with comments like, “I loved seeing how you two got along on the show. He had a big heart like his momma!” and “Today I hurt for you and with you. Every day I pray for you.” The wave of empathy and solidarity truly demonstrates the impact Garrison had on those around him.

Janelle’s heartfelt posts manage to strike a chord with many, encapsulating the pain and remembrance that comes when a loved one passes away. It’s a touching reminder of how interconnected we all are through shared human experiences.

The Death of Garrison

On the fateful day of March 5, Garrison was found in his home in Flagstaff, Arizona. The cause of death, revealed a few months later, was suicide, with the Coconino County Medical Examiner stating that he died from a gunshot wound to the head, accompanied by ethanol intoxication, or alcohol poisoning. His blood alcohol level was shockingly high, at .307% and .370% in vitreous blood.

It was Garrison’s brother, Gabriel, who discovered him, a devastating moment that has undeniably left a lasting scar on the family. Janelle, in a sorrowful Instagram post, confirmed the tragic news alongside Kody Brown, stating, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. Everyone who knew him felt better because of him. Our lives will be so much worse without him. It takes our breath away. Please know that our privacy is important to us and join us in remembering him.”

Garrison, along with his many siblings, was first introduced to the world in 2010 through the family’s reality show on TLC. Over the years, he became a familiar face to the show’s fans, appearing multiple times on Sister Wives.

Despite this tragedy, Janelle stays close to her other children – Logan, 29, Maddie, 28, Hunter, 27, Gabe, 22, and Savanah, 19 – all of whom she shares with Kody. It’s a testament to the strength and resilience of the family as they navigate these turbulent times.

Getting Dark

The upcoming season of Sister Wives promises to delve into the aftermath of Garrison’s death. Viewers are expected to see a new, perhaps darker side of Kody, his wife Robyn Brown, Janelle, and his ex-wives Christine and Meri Brown. According to a family friend, the season will explore the question, “Why did this happen?” and how the family can heal from such a profound loss.

There’s an emotional journey laid out ahead as the family members examine their relationships and try to understand what went wrong. “They’re going to start tearing each other down a bit to figure out what went wrong,” the source commented, highlighting the raw and real dynamics that will be on display.

As tensions rise and the family members grapple with their grief, fans will witness the unfolding drama and the path toward healing. It’s a poignant reminder that even in reality TV, the challenges and heartaches are very, very real.

So, gear up, get those tissues ready, and prepare to join Janelle and her family as they navigate through one of the most challenging periods of their lives. It’s bound to be a rollercoaster of emotions, but one filled with strength, love, and the enduring spirit of family.
