Breakfast Pastry Pinwheels

These Baked Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Pinwheels are a tasty, fuss-free option for breakfast or brunch. Flaky puff pastry wraps around a savory mix of scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, creating bite-sized treats that everyone will love

Ingredients

INGREDIENT QUANTITY
Puff pastry sheet (thawed) 1 sheet
Bacon (cooked and crumbled) 4 slices
Eggs (scrambled) 3 large
Cheddar cheese (shredded) 1 cup
Milk 1 tablespoon
Salt To taste
Pepper To taste
Chives, chopped 1 tablespoon (optional)
Egg (beaten) 1

1. Preheat the oven
Set the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Bacon

2. Prepare the puff pastry
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry to smooth out any creases.

3. Make the egg mixture
In a bowl, whisk together the scrambled eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

4. Assemble the pinwheels

Spread the egg mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
Roll the pastry tightly into a log, starting from one of the longer sides.
Slice the log into 1-inch pinwheels and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Brush with egg wash
Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the beaten egg.Cheese
