Authorities in Hurricane, Utah, have confirmed the tragic death of 4-year-old Kache Wallis, a case that deeply shook the local community. The young boy was found unresponsive inside a small toy chest in his bedroom after being reported missing overnight. The Utah Medical Examiner’s Office later ruled the cause of death as positional asphyxiation. The incident began when Kache’s grandmother discovered he was missing from his bed early the next morning and immediately contacted police.

Officers conducted an extensive search of the home, but initial efforts did not locate the child. As concern grew, a missing alert was issued, prompting a broader community response. During a subsequent search of the residence, Kache was tragically found inside a toy chest in his bedroom. Investigators determined that the child had climbed into the chest on his own and became trapped, leading to his accidental death.
