Jack Osbourne shares devastating update on mom Sharon after Ozzy’s death

Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July. The “Prince of Darkness” battled Parkinson’s and left six children and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, behind. It’s been months since the beloved singer passed away, and now, son Jack Osbourne shares a devastating update on Sharon’s well-being.

Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of heavy metal group Black Sabbath and nicknamed “The Prince of Darkness,” died in July. His family announced the news, saying, “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Up until his death, he was very outspoken and vocal about the disease, donating millions to charities fighting Parkinson’s. This summer, Osbourne played a farewell concert with Black Sabbath in Birmingham. The event raised more than £1 million for local charities, supporting children’s causes and Parkinson’s research.

On July 30, Ozzy Osbourne was laid to his final rest, which started with a funeral cortege passing through his home city of Birmingham.

Ozzy’s casket made its way through Birmingham in procession, where thousands of fans were able to say their last goodbyes. At one point, the hearse stopped at the Black Sabbath Bridge bench, where Ozzy’s family was met with a sea of flowers as they approached the site.

Sharon, joined by her children—Ozzy, Kelly, Jack, and Aimee —read tributes to their beloved late husband and father, as Sharon broke down in tears. Sbe was comforted by her daughter, Kelly, who laid a protective hand on her mother’s shoulder.

Weeks after Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral, Sharon, along with daughter Kelly, appeared in a video, thanking them for all the support.

“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know,” Sharon Osbourne said. “None of it has gone unnoticed; in fact, it’s carried me through many nights. Though I’m still finding my footing.”

Now, months have passed since Ozzy Osbourne’s passing.

Appearing on Good Morning America, his son, Jack, shared a heartbreaking update on how his mother is doing. The last time she was seen in public was for her husband’s public memorial.

“You know, when people have been asking me that question, I say, ‘She’s OK, but she’s not OK’,” Jack said, adding that he knows his mother “feels the love” from fans.

“None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love,” he continued. “Every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won’t be there, and what will that be like. It’s just a part of being human. We just didn’t think of it. It was a different weight to it, you know?”
