Viewers in disbelief after spotting Donald Trump and Elon Musk together at Charlie Kirk’s memorial

Viewers have been left shocked after spotting both President Donald Trump and Elon Musk sitting together during the memorial.

Charlie Kirk had been appearing at Utah Valley University (UVU) where he was on stage addressing a 3,000-strong crowd as part of his ‘American Comeback’ tour when he was struck in the neck by a gunshot.

It was later confirmed that he had died as a result of his injuries and an FBI manhunt ensued.

22 year old Tyler Robinson was later arrested under suspicion of murder before making his first court appearance on Tuesday (September 16) via video link from Utah County Jail where he is currently being held, which is where he heard that prosecutors would be seeking the death penalty.

Now, Kirk’s funeral is currently underway at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where President Trump is set to speak.

Musk was seen at the event and even posted a video of the crowd onto his own social media platform X, formerly Twitter, captioning it with: “Every seat in this giant arena that isn’t roped off for security is packed to the ceiling. Honored to be here.”

Now, viewers watching the live stream of the event online have been left in disbelief after the former friends were seen talking in the audience.
Musk had previously supported Trump during his 2024 presidential election campaign, even joining the president in government as the head of the department of government efficiency (DOGE).

However, things took a turn for the worse when Musk stepped down and the pair became embroiled in a public spat.

But this sighting could be a sign that things might be changing.

Reacting to the news on X, one user wrote: “I hope that they can reconcile privately as Charlie Kirk wished!”

Another said: “Love is in the air.”

And a third person added: “They arent friends here thats just the only bulletproof glass.”

Kirk’s memorial is being live streamed for people around the world and is available to watch on Rumble, with the title: “Building A Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk.”

In the event description, which has over 100,000 online viewers at the time of writing, it reads: “Join Turning Point USA for a special memorial event, remembering our Founder and CEO, Charlie Kirk. Hear from President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Erika Kirk and more.”

Following Kirk’s death, Erika released a video addressing the ‘evildoers’ who are responsible for her husband’s death, claiming that they ‘should all know this: If you thought my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country, and this world’.
