SCIENCE Scientist Warns Earth Is In Midst Of Rare 6,000-Year Mass Extinction Cycle
If the news cycle reflects current events, no one can blame you for feeling that the end of the world is near.
Not to scare you, but a space weather specialist has warned that a “catastrophic geomagnetic disaster” might be imminent for everyone on the planet.
The ‘disaster cycle’ of Earth is exactly what you want to hear.
On the Matt Beall Limitless podcast, Space Weather News founder Ben Davidson revealed the startling forecast.
What does he believe we will do next? What about mass extinction, climatic chaos, and tsunamis?
Given that it has the potential to eradicate up to 90% of all life on Earth, this is also no little occurrence.
According to Ben Davidson, his prediction is the result of a’micronova’ in the sun that may cause a sudden shift in the magnetic poles.
Don’t worry, you’re not the only one who has never heard of that.
It’s important to note that his theory is somewhat unusual.
A’micronova’ is a sudden solar explosion, and his notion is not widely accepted.
Davidson maintains that his theory, which is based on the underlying geomagnetic cycle, is “bulletproof” in spite of the disagreement.
He stated, “This is a near extinction-level event, and we are in the middle of it right now!”
It’s a cycle that happens about every 6,000 years, according to Davidson.
The good news is that we are not in the middle of a more severe event that occurs every 12,000 years, he adds.
Additionally, he claims that since the 1800s, the Earth’s magnetic field has diminished by as much as 15%.
Auroras used to be uncommon at low latitudes, according to Davidson.
But now they’re showing up a lot more often, he says, around ’15 to 20′ times in a few years.
“We’ve probably seen 15 to 20 of these events. So, we’ve gone from, you know, one to three every decade to more than 10 in just a couple of years,” warned the expert.
“What the sun is throwing at Earth to trigger those lower latitude auroras is far smaller than what it used to take as we look back into the past.”
This, in his opinion, indicates that the magnetic shield is malfunctioning.
Davidson told the Daily Mail that: “Everything we expect to see is unfolding now, confirming we’re not just due for this event, it’s happening, and it’s a massive threat.”
He believes there is a 10- to 25-year window in which a catastrophic event could occur.
According to him, a geomagnetic storm is long overdue; the last significant one occurred in 1859.
He claims that in the modern world, the terrible catastrophe would have affected electrical grids and stopped the supply of food and water, and it caused telegraph systems to malfunction, resulting in fires.

“Everything we expect to see is unfolding now, confirming we’re not just due for this event, it’s happening, and it’s a massive threat that almost no one is addressing,” saying he thinks we aren’t being told things in order to avoid ‘panic’.
