The ‘Middle Wife’ STORY OF THE DAY.!

An anonymous second-grade teacher shared a funny story from one of her show-and-tell sessions.

A bright and outgoing student named Erica gave a hilarious presentation about her baby brother’s birth.

She explained that her parents “made him as a symbol of love” and that he grew in her mom’s stomach after her dad “put a seed in there.”

Erica continued with a dramatic retelling, describing her mom’s labor with exaggerated groaning and mimicking the “middle wife” (midwife) who helped deliver the baby. She humorously added that the “middle wife” spanked the baby after birth for crawling into her mom’s stomach.

The teacher found the whole story hilarious and vowed to bring her camcorder to future show-and-tell sessions in case another “middle wife” story comes up.
