JD Vance Sparks Concern with His “Unusual” Take on Trump’s Health Update

JD Vance Raises Eyebrows with Trump Health Comments

Vice President JD Vance sparked concern online after giving a peculiar update on President Donald Trump’s health.

Trump’s Health Under Scrutiny

Recently, Trump’s well-being has drawn attention. Observers noticed a large bruise on his hand during public appearances. The White House initially attributed it to handshakes but also attempted—unsuccessfully—to conceal it with makeup.

Earlier this summer, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition where damaged leg veins affect bl0*d flow. Combined with his upcoming 80th birthday, speculation about his health has intensified.

Vance Weighs In

When asked if he was ready to assume the presidency if needed, Vance said, “I’ve had a lot of on-the-job training in the last 200 days, but the president is in incredibly good health. He’s got incredible energy.”

He added, “While most people around the president are younger, he’s the last to sleep, the first to wake, and the first making calls in the morning.”

Vance also stated, “If God forbid there is a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten in the last 200 days.”

Public Reaction

Once the interview aired, social media users reacted quickly.

“Strange thing to say as the VP, no?” one wrote.

“What an incredibly odd thing to say,” another commented.

A third noted, “Interesting phrasing—feels a bit ominous, but it’s standard VP talk about succession readiness.”

Concerns and Criticism

Trump has historically mocked rivals for perceived deficiencies, including labeling Joe Biden as unfit due to alleged cognitive decline. Unsurprisingly, critics sharpened their critiques.

Earlier this year, Trump’s niece Mary, a psychologist, described his behavior as a “reign of idiocy” in her YouTube series Trump Trolls Trump. She warned that he is “declining rapidly” and “losing it every day.”

Experts have also noted potential early signs of dementia, citing Trump’s motor skills and a peculiar “leg swing” in his right leg.

White House Response

Despite concerns, White House physician Sean Barbabella declared Trump in “good health” and “fully fit to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief.”
