Most people don’t know this trick keeps dust mites away, but did you know…

A Florida nurse has lost her license after being accused of sexually abusing her 15-year-old stepson. Authorities say Alexis Von Yates, 34, of Ocala, engaged in s*exual conduct with the teen in July 2024 while he was visiting his father. An anonymous tip led police to investigate after the father allegedly walked in during the incident. Von Yates was arrested on November 6, 2024, and charged with sexual battery of a minor.

She posted a $10,000 bond the next day. The Florida Department of Health suspended her nursing license on April 25, citing her lack of judgment and moral character. Disciplinary proceedings are pending. Court records allege she made repeated sexual comments and advances toward the teen before the assault.

Afterward, she allegedly told him she regretted only that his father caught them. Von Yates has pleaded not guilty. No trial date has been set.
