President Donald Trump had a nuclear bomber fly over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s head, demonstrating that the power struggles are already under way.

Today, August 15, the long-awaited summit between Trump and Putin is finally happening in Anchorage, Alaska. In light of the current dispute between Russia and Ukraine, the two are meeting in an effort to mediate a settlement.

Additionally, things have already gotten off to an odd start when Trump was spotted welcoming the Russian president with his signature handshake.

In addition, Putin will have heard four F-35 fighter fighters and the renowned American B-2 Bomber fly by over his head shortly after he got off the aircraft.

Taking to Twitter to share the news, one user posted a clip of it with the caption: “Trump just flew a B-2 stealth bomber over Putin’s head… Absolutely incredible.”

Rushing to the comments, one person typed, “Should have showed off the new B-21 instead.”

“Power move lol,” another commented.

A third penned, “Beast mode. The only thing powerful people respect…Power.”

Trump declared the mission a “success” after launching a missile attack on several of Iran’s most important nuclear sites on June 21. However, Iran promptly conducted an attack of its own against six US air bases in Qatar and Iraq.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters in the Pentagon at the time that the US stealth bombers were able to fly unnoticed while executing their mission, code-named Operation Midnight Hammer.

“Our B-2s went in and out of these nuclear sites, in and out and back without the world knowing at all – in that way it was historic,” he stated.

Given how low it flew, there is no doubt that Putin would have anticipated it. Some have praised the stealth bombers as the priciest military aircraft ever constructed.

These aircraft, officially known as the Northrop B-2 Spirit, were built at a cost of more than $2 billion apiece and are the only ones capable of dropping the infamous 30,000-pound “bunker busting” bombs.

The pilots had to refuel the jet while in the air during the 36-hour round-trip flight in order to stay hidden during the June strikes. These luxury military aircraft have a non-refilled range of 7,000 miles.

According to reports, the flight from Missouri to Iran took American pilots eighteen hours.

In addition to these airplanes, ABC News said that two F-22 aircraft, which are renowned for their ability to fly covertly, were positioned on either side of the red carpet.

It’s unknown whether Trump ordered the flights, the publication adds.
