Woman Takes Deceased Uncle to Bank to Apply for Loan

In a shocking incident in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a 42-year-old woman attempted to secure a loan of approximately $3,400 by bringing the lifeless body of her uncle into a bank. The woman wheeled the deceased man into the branch and tried to make it appear as though he was conscious and signing the documents.

Bank employees quickly grew suspicious when the man remained unresponsive and appeared pale. Emergency services were called, and it was confirmed that the man had been dead for several hours. The woman was arrested on the spot and now faces charges of fraud and abuse of a corpse.

The bizarre event has gone viral worldwide and is being compared to the dark comedy film Weekend at Bernie’s. However, the reality of the situation is far more disturbing than fiction.
