🚨 BREAKING NEWS! The death of… See more

Missiles hit multiple targets in civilian areas and key infrastructure, while the Israeli military carried out strikes in Tehran.

The death toll in Israel rose to 25 on Monday, after the bodies of three people were found in Haifa (north) and the body of an 80-year-old man near Tel Aviv, Israeli police and rescuers reported.

In addition, a total of 92 people were evacuated to hospitals early this morning, including only one woman in serious condition with “facial injuries” and six in moderate condition.

With the latest 10 deaths, there are now 25 dead since the start of Iranian bombings against Israel in retaliation for the assassination last Friday of senior military officials, civilians and nuclear scientists.

Search and rescue teams recovered the bodies of three people missing Monday morning in Haifa following Iranian attacks several hours earlier. Shortly before, police officers found the body of an elderly man in Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, in a building adjacent to one hit by a missile.
Meanwhile, emergency services had already confirmed last night the deaths of two men and two women, all in their 70s, following collisions with at least one 20-story building in Petah Tikva, a city about 10 kilometers east of Tel Aviv.

“Search and rescue operations continue at two of the four locations,” confirmed the Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom.

In addition to these eight deaths, another eight were killed in an attack in Bat Yam , south of Tel Aviv, early Sunday morning; four women were killed—including a girl and her sister—in the Arab city of Tamra, near Haifa, which has no public bunkers; and three were killed on the first night of the attacks. In addition, two Israelis died on Monday after an Iranian missile hit their bunker.

In response to this situation, the Red Star of David posted a message on its Facebook account asking the public to donate blood in response to the number of victims of the Iranian attacks in response to the Israeli bombings.

“Due to the security situation, there is a severe shortage of blood supplies,” the agency explained in its statement, adding that “donations will be made in accordance with the instructions of the National Command at various centers throughout the country.” Iranian attacks have damaged the power grid in this area of central Israel, so “teams are working on the ground to neutralize security risks and repair infrastructure and restore power,” the state-owned electricity company reported.

Earlier, the Israeli military announced on its X account that “alerts have been activated in several areas following the detection of missiles launched from Iran against the territory of the State of Israel,” and called on “the population to obey the instructions of the Home Front Command” while working to “intercept and attack where necessary to eliminate the threat.”
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed the attacks in a statement, highlighting the “most powerful and devastating” operation against Israeli territory. Attacks were also reported in Jerusalem, the port of Haifa—which caused a fire at an oil refinery—and near Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, according to the IRNA news agency.

For its part, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported in recent hours that it attacked “the headquarters of the Quds Force in Tehran, the Revolutionary Guard, and the Iranian Army.” On its X account, it noted that Quds Force operatives “were planning terrorist acts against Israel through the Iranian regime’s branches in the Middle East.”At least 224 people have died in Iran as of last night, and more than 1,000 have been injured, according to Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour.

I BOUGHT SHAWARMA AND COFFEE FOR A HOMELESS MAN — IN RETURN, HE GAVE ME A NOTE AND TOLD ME TO READ IT AT HOME.That evening, the thermometer showed 26.6°F. The wind cut through my coat, and snowflakes stung my cheeks. All I wanted was to get home, take a hot bath, and sip cocoa. But as I approached the shawarma stand near the corner, my steps faltered. There he was — a man wrapped in tattered fabric, trembling as a scrappy dog pressed against him for warmth. His rough, pleading voice broke through the cold.”Just a cup of hot water, please,” he asked.”GET OUT OF HERE!” the vendor snapped, not even looking at him.The dog whimpered, and something inside me broke. My grandmother’s words echoed: “Kindness costs nothing but can change everything.” I stepped forward.”Two coffees and two shawarmas, please.”The vendor frowned but filled the order. Blushing, I handed the bag and cups to the man. “Here,” I muttered. As I walked away, his raspy voice stopped me. “Wait.” He held out a crumpled paper. “Read it at home,” he said with a strange smile.I stuffed the note into my pocket, dismissing it as I focused on my commute, work emails, and the hundred other trivialities of modern life.It wasn’t until the next evening, as I cleaned out my coat pocket, that I found it. The paper was creased and worn, but the message was clear. The words left me speechless. I whispered to myself, “Is this real?”⬇️Story continues in the first comment
