In 2016, a tragic incident occurred in Barmer, India, when a camel reportedly killed its owner, Urjaram. The camel had been tied up for hours in scorching heat—over 109°F—without water or shade. Distressed and agitated, the animal eventually snapped.
When Urjaram came to untie the camel, it attacked violently. Eyewitnesses said the camel grabbed him by the neck, threw him to the ground, and bit him repeatedly, even severing his head. The rampage continued for hours until 25 villagers managed to restrain the furious animal.
