It was my day off, and after a minor argument with my husband that morning, he left for work\u2014or so he said. Not wanting to sit around stewing, I called my best friend, and we decided to spend the afternoon at the pool near her apartment. The weather was perfect, and we were all smiles, ready to relax and enjoy some pizza.<\/p>\n
But as I got comfortable on my lounge chair, I saw him\u2014my husband\u2014just across the pool, lounging beside a young blonde, their fingers intertwined. I froze. He looked completely at ease, sipping a drink and laughing, as if he hadn\u2019t lied to me just a few hours earlier. My blood boiled, and I was ready to storm over and confront him.<\/p>\n
Before I could move, though, karma stepped in. A furious young man appeared out of nowhere, marching straight toward them. Turns out the blonde wasn\u2019t just a \u201cfriend\u201d\u2014she was someone else\u2019s girlfriend too. The guy shoved my husband and shouted loud enough for everyone at the pool to turn and stare. The drama exploded, right there in the sun.<\/p>\n
I didn\u2019t have to lift a finger. Karma handled it better than I ever could have. Later, my husband tried to explain it all away, but I was done. I walked away with my pride, knowing the truth had come out without me saying a word.
