The municipal administration expressed its deepest condolences to Dulce\u2019s family: \u201cWith profound respect, the Municipal Government regrets this painful outcome and expresses its solidarity and support to the minor\u2019s family, reiterating its commitment to act responsibly and humanely in any situation that affects the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Salamanca community has expressed special gratitude to Liborio V\u00e1zquez and his Salamanca Rescue Brigade for their tireless work, which culminated in the location of the minor\u2019s body. After being rescued, the boy reported that he was playing with Dulce Victoria when they both fell into the water. He managed to hold on to avoid being swept away by the strong current, while his friend was swept away by the river.
