Sheinelle Jones Mourns the Loss of Husband Uche Ojeh<\/p>\n
Sheinelle Jones, co-host of NBC\u2019s \u201cToday,\u201d is mourning the death of her husband of 17 years, Uche Ojeh, who passed away at age 45 after battling glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. The news was shared on the May 23 broadcast of \u201cToday.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Instagram, Jones thanked supporters, writing, \u201cThank you for all of your love and support. \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cToday\u201d team paid tribute with a touching video montage. Savannah Guthrie called Ojeh \u201can incredible person,\u201d while Craig Melvin remembered him as \u201cthe dad\u201d who never missed a school event.<\/p>\n
Jones and Ojeh\u2019s love story began in the late 1990s at Northwestern University. After eight years of dating, they married in 2007 in Philadelphia and had three children: one in 2009 and twins in 2012.<\/p>\n
