President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made a big announcement on Friday about a major breakthrough with the U.S. military.<\/p>\n
While speaking from the Oval Office, Trump announced the U.S. military\u2019s next high-tech fighter jet.<\/p>\n
Trump not only announces that Boeing has won the contract for \u201cthe world\u2019s first six generation fighter jet,\u201d the F-47, he says it\u2019s \u201cbeen flying for five years.\u201d <\/p>\n
The president called the F-47 \u201ca good size plane,\u201d adding that \u201cperhaps\u201d some allies will be able to purchase them. Trump said this plane \u201cdoes not fly by itself\u201d and the F-47 flies with drones \u201cas many as we want.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe F-47 will be the most advanced, most capable, most lethal aircraft ever built. An experimental version of the plane has secretly been flying for almost 5 years and we\u2019re confident that it massively overpowers the capabilities of any other nation,\u201d Trump declared.<\/p>\n
