A Plea That Reached Nashville<\/p>\n
DJ\u2019s journey to that Houston stage began with a heartfelt video. Dressed in his honorary police uniform \u2014 he has been sworn in by more than 1,300 law enforcement agencies across the U.S. \u2014 DJ recorded a message asking for help:<\/p>\n
\u201cDoes anybody know Jason Aldean? We\u2019re trying to do a country show to raise money for kids with cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n
