In September, fans first grew concerned when Dolly had to cancel a scheduled appearance at Dollywood for the announcement of the park\u2019s new attraction, Night Flight Expedition. The last-minute change was due to kidney stones that led to an infection, forcing her to step back and focus on recovery.<\/p>\n
Just weeks later, she shared more difficult news, announcing the postponement of her upcoming Las Vegas residency shows because of unexpected health challenges. Dolly explained that she never wants to give fans anything less than her very best \u2014 and right now, she simply wasn\u2019t able to deliver the full experience she believes they deserve.<\/p>\n
Those same ongoing health concerns also kept her from attending a November 17 ceremony honoring her induction into the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions\u2019 Hall of Fame. In a heartfelt video message, Dolly told fans that doctors advised her to rest.<\/p>\n
I sure wish I could be with you in person today,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cBut I\u2019ve been dealing with a few health challenges this fall, and my doctors told me to take it easy for just a little while. I\u2019m truly sorry I can\u2019t be there, but I wanted to say thank you for this incredible honor.\u201d<\/p>\n

As 2025 came to a close, Dolly once again turned her attention to the people who have supported her through it all. In a New Year\u2019s Eve video shared on social media, she delivered a warm and uplifting message.<\/p>\n
