Seemed weird, but money\u2019s money. When I got there, the truck was covered in pollen and leaves, like it hadn\u2019t been touched in months. But the strange part? There was a German Shepherd sitting inside the cab\u2014calm, alert, like he\u2019d been waiting on someone. I figured the dog would bark or growl, maybe even try to jump out. But he just stared at me. Didn\u2019t move a muscle. I called Troy, but it went straight to voicemail. So I sat down on the tailgate, unsure what to do. After a few minutes, the dog pawed the window, then jumped to the passenger seat and hit the glovebox with his nose. I swear he wanted me to look inside. And when I finally did, I found a photo.
