The victims were brothers Connor, 10, and Rylee, 9, and their 7-year-old sister, Alena Kannin. Around 10:39 p.m., the Kenosha Fire and Police Departments responded to a structure fire on 43rd Avenue.<\/p>\n
Firefighters found the apartment engulfed in flames. The two boys were declared dead at the scene. Alena was airlifted to a hospital but later succumbed to severe burns. Their father, Joshua Kannin, was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. Authorities continue investigating the fire\u2019s cause.<\/p>\n

The children\u2019s mother, Jourdan Feasby, posted a detailed account on Facebook. She said she spent Thanksgiving morning with the children before dropping them off at their father\u2019s apartment. She stressed that she is not attacking Joshua but questions his version of events.<\/p>\n
Jourdan noted smoke detectors had reportedly been removed because Joshua smoked indoors. She questioned why he appeared unharmed while the children suffered fatal burns.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy kids\u2019 father said he woke up seeing and smelling smoke. My daughter was sleeping in bed with him. Wouldn\u2019t you grab your daughter first, then check the boys\u2019 room?\u201d she wrote.
\nShe also questioned why Joshua ran outside instead of calling 911 or attempting to rescue the children. Jourdan highlighted inconsistencies, including his sister\u2019s account of trying to help, yet reportedly taking no medical precautions despite heavy smoke exposure<\/p>\n
