With shoppers increasingly attentive to messages on clothing, one customer\u2019s reaction quickly drew national attention \u2014 and prompted a direct response from Target.<\/p>\n<p>The design in question featured the line \u201cOCD Christmas obsessive-compulsive disorder,\u201d which the shopper, Reign Murphy, felt could unintentionally downplay the seriousness of a real mental health condition. OCD affects millions of people, many of whom work hard to raise awareness, share their experiences, and challenge misconceptions.
