Donald Norcross (D-NJ) is in \u201cstable condition\u201d after experiencing an \u201cemergency medical event\u201d in North Carolina over the weekend, his office announced Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The 66-year-old congressman was admitted to UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh on Sunday, and the issue is \u201clikely related to his gallbladder,\u201d according to a statement from his office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is currently in good spirits and wants to thank the doctors, nurses, and support staff at UNC Rex Hospital for all their work on his behalf during his stay,\u201d the congressman\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the Congressman is medically cleared to fly, he will be transferred back home to Cooper University Health Care in the coming days to complete his recovery,\u201c the statement continued.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
