Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of heavy metal group Black Sabbath and nicknamed \u201cThe Prince of Darkness,\u201d died in July. His family announced the news, saying, \u201cHe was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Up until his death, he was very outspoken and vocal about the disease, donating millions to charities fighting Parkinson\u2019s. This summer, Osbourne played a farewell concert with Black Sabbath in Birmingham. The event raised more than \u00a31 million for local charities, supporting children\u2019s causes and Parkinson\u2019s research.<\/p>\n
On July 30, Ozzy Osbourne was laid to his final rest, which started with a funeral cortege passing through his home city of Birmingham.<\/p>\n
Ozzy\u2019s casket made its way through Birmingham in procession, where thousands of fans were able to say their last goodbyes. At one point, the hearse stopped at the Black Sabbath Bridge bench, where Ozzy\u2019s family was met with a sea of flowers as they approached the site.<\/p>\n
Sharon, joined by her children\u2014Ozzy, Kelly, Jack, and Aimee \u2014read tributes to their beloved late husband and father, as Sharon broke down in tears. Sbe was comforted by her daughter, Kelly, who laid a protective hand on her mother\u2019s shoulder.<\/p>\n

Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know,\u201d Sharon Osbourne said. \u201cNone of it has gone unnoticed; in fact, it\u2019s carried me through many nights. Though I\u2019m still finding my footing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Now, months have passed since Ozzy Osbourne\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n
Appearing on Good Morning America, his son, Jack, shared a heartbreaking update on how his mother is doing. The last time she was seen in public was for her husband\u2019s public memorial.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, when people have been asking me that question, I say, \u2018She\u2019s OK, but she\u2019s not OK\u2019,\u201d Jack said, adding that he knows his mother \u201cfeels the love\u201d from fans.<\/p>\n
\u201cNone of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love,\u201d he continued. \u201cEvery child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won\u2019t be there, and what will that be like. It\u2019s just a part of being human. We just didn\u2019t think of it. It was a different weight to it, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n
