Viewers have been left shocked after spotting both President Donald Trump and Elon Musk sitting together during the memorial.<\/p>\n
Charlie Kirk had been appearing at Utah Valley University (UVU) where he was on stage addressing a 3,000-strong crowd as part of his \u2018American Comeback\u2019 tour when he was struck in the neck by a gunshot.<\/p>\n
It was later confirmed that he had died as a result of his injuries and an FBI manhunt ensued.<\/p>\n
22 year old Tyler Robinson was later arrested under suspicion of murder before making his first court appearance on Tuesday (September 16) via video link from Utah County Jail where he is currently being held, which is where he heard that prosecutors would be seeking the death penalty.<\/p>\n
Now, Kirk\u2019s funeral is currently underway at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where President Trump is set to speak.<\/p>\n
Musk was seen at the event and even posted a video of the crowd onto his own social media platform X, formerly Twitter, captioning it with: \u201cEvery seat in this giant arena that isn\u2019t roped off for security is packed to the ceiling. Honored to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Now, viewers watching the live stream of the event online have been left in disbelief after the former friends were seen talking in the audience.
\nMusk had previously supported Trump during his 2024 presidential election campaign, even joining the president in government as the head of the department of government efficiency (DOGE).<\/p>\n
However, things took a turn for the worse when Musk stepped down and the pair became embroiled in a public spat.<\/p>\n
But this sighting could be a sign that things might be changing.<\/p>\n
Reacting to the news on X, one user wrote: \u201cI hope that they can reconcile privately as Charlie Kirk wished!\u201d<\/p>\n
Another said: \u201cLove is in the air.\u201d<\/p>\n
And a third person added: \u201cThey arent friends here thats just the only bulletproof glass.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kirk\u2019s memorial is being live streamed for people around the world and is available to watch on Rumble, with the title: \u201cBuilding A Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk.\u201d<\/p>\n
