Additionally, it caused significant damage to his eye sockets.<\/p>\n<p>After his mother Beverly Bailey-Potter read an article in a magazine about Dr. Eduardo Rodriguez at the New York University Langone Medical Center, she suggested that her son have conventional reconstruction surgery before having the transplant.
