President Donald Trump tore into former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney on Monday after she received a last-minute pardon from former President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n
While signing several executive orders in the Oval Office, reporters asked Trump about several major topics. Trump issued roughly 1,500 pardons and commuted the sentences of 14 people in connection with the events at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was going to talk about the J6 hostages, but you\u2019ll be happy because, you know, it\u2019s action, not words that count, and you\u2019re going to see a lot of action on the J6 hostages,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was going to talk about the things that Joe did today with the pardons of people that were very, very guilty of very bad crimes, like the unselect committee of political folks,\u201d he added, referring to the Jan. 6 panel.<\/p>\n
