President Trump is back to going after Rosie O\u2019Donnell. This time, he posted on Truth Social calling her \u201ca threat to humanity\u201d and said he might take away her citizenship.<\/p>\n
In the post, he wrote: \u201cBecause of the fact that Rosie O\u2019Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!\u201d<\/p>\n
Trump is referring to the fact that O\u2019Donnell recently moved to Ireland. She said it was after his second inauguration in 2025.<\/p>\n
Rosie has said before that Trump \u201chas it out for [her] and has for 20 years.\u201d During an appearance on Irish TV in March 2025, she said it started when she \u201ctold the truth about him on a program called The View.\u201d<\/p>\n
Back in 2006, she criticized Trump during a Hot Topics segment on The View. It was about how he handled the underage drinking situation with Miss USA Tara Conner.<\/p>\n
O\u2019Donnell said: \u201cHe annoys me on a multitude of levels,\u201d and called him \u201cnot a self-made man\u201d and a \u201csnake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie.<\/p>\n
\u201c[He] left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair, had kids both times, but he\u2019s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend. I don\u2019t enjoy him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trump responded in an interview at the time and said: \u201cRosie will rue the words she said. Rosie\u2019s a loser. A real loser.<\/p>\n

The feud didn\u2019t die down after that. Trump kept coming after her on social media, including calling her a \u201closer\u201d after her engagement in 2011. He tweeted: \u201cI feel sorry for Rosie\u2018s new partner in love whose parents are devastated at the thought of their daughter being with @Rosie, a true loser.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the 2015 GOP debate, he was asked about calling women names like \u201cfat pigs\u201d and \u201cslobs.\u201d He answered, \u201cOnly Rosie O\u2019Donnell.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rosie has said that the harassment from Trump took a serious toll on her. She told an interviewer: \u201cProbably the Trump stuff was the most bullying I ever experienced in my life, including as a child. It was national, and it was sanctioned societally.\u201d<\/p>\n
By 2016, she was a strong critic of Trump and protested outside the White House in 2018. She moved to Ireland after his 2025 inauguration.<\/p>\n
Even after she left the country, Trump still made comments. When someone joked about Ireland letting her in, Trump said: \u201cDo you know who she is? You\u2019re better off not knowing.\u201d<\/p>\n
