The camera-shy tech CEO caught in an awkward embrace with an employee at a Coldplay concert was allegedly a \u201ctoxic\u201d boss \u2014 and former employees were \u201claughing their ass off\u201d at the news, a former colleague exclusively told The Post.<\/p>\n

Andy Byron, the married CEO of New York-based software firm Astronomer, skyrocketed to internet infamy on Thursday after he was spotted canoodling with the company\u2019s chief human resources officer, Kristin Cabot, on the jumbotron at Gillette Stadium.<\/p>\n

The incident sparked chatter among his former colleagues \u2014 with many claiming that Byron got his rightful comeuppance, according to a source who used to report directly to Byron.<\/p>\n

In the workplace, Byron allegedly has a reputation as an aggressive, sales-obsessed executive who can be \u201ctoxic,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

Astronomer and Byron have yet to respond to The Post\u2019s requests for comment on the situation.<\/p>\n

As the \u201ckiss cam\u201d panned over the crowd, Byron had his arms around Cabot\u2019s midsection and the two were holding hands. When the pair realized they were on camera, Cabot covered her face and turned her back, while Byron tried to duck out of view.<\/p>\n

\u201cEither they\u2019re having an affair or they\u2019re just very shy,\u201d Martin said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoly s\u2013t. I hope we didn\u2019t do something bad,\u201d he added, according to additional footage taken right after.<\/p>\n

Byron appears to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Cabot recently divorced her husband, Kenneth Thornby.<\/p>\n

Cabot and Thornby filed for divorce in 2018 and the split was finalized in 2022, according to Massachusetts court records. It\u2019s unclear if she has since remarried.<\/p>\n

Byron joined Astronomer as CEO in July 2023, according to his LinkedIn page, which was taken down by Thursday afternoon. Astronomer closed a $93 million fundraising round in May with backing from Bain Capital, Salesforce and other notable firms.<\/p>\n
